Paul Champion

Business

Paul Champion is an experienced educator and former business professional who brings a strong foundation in leadership, management, and human resources into the classroom. With a background that includes overseeing large-scale business operations and consulting on organizational strategy, he offers students practical, real-world insights alongside academic instruction. Mr. Champion has extensive experience teaching English Language Arts and supporting diverse learners, including English language learners and students with special needs, through differentiated and student-centered instruction. He is committed to fostering engaging, inclusive learning environments that promote academic success and critical thinking. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from University of Redlands, along with teaching credentials in English Language Arts and Business.

Dr. Robert Ott

Liberal Studies

Dr. Robert Ott is an experienced psychology instructor with over 20 years of leadership across higher education, K–12 education, and the financial services industry. He currently teaches courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Human Development, and Student Success, and has supported the academic success of hundreds of students each year through both synchronous and asynchronous online learning environments. Dr. Ott brings a data-informed, student-centered approach to teaching, emphasizing engagement, critical thinking, and real-world application. In addition to his teaching, he has served as a department chair and developed innovative curriculum, including multimedia-based coursework. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Capella University and a Master of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix, and is also a published author on topics related to life satisfaction and emotional intelligence.

Jesse Seligson

Jesse Seligson is an experienced humanities and social sciences educator with over a decade of college-level teaching experience. He has served as a visiting professor at institutions including Hudson County Community College and Queens College, City University of New York, where he independently designed and taught a wide range of courses in sociology, cultural anthropology, history, and literature. His teaching emphasizes critical thinking, cultural awareness, and the exploration of social issues, with courses covering topics such as race and ethnic relations, social change, immigration, and science fiction as a lens for cultural analysis. Mr. Seligson holds a Master of Arts in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University and brings an interdisciplinary, discussion-driven approach that encourages students to engage deeply with complex social and cultural topics.

Dr. Randall Hoggard is an accomplished educator and academic leader with extensive experience in higher education, K–12 administration, and instructional design. He has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in education, leadership, and critical thinking, and currently serves as an online faculty instructor, supporting adult learners in both online and hybrid environments. Dr. Hoggard brings a strong background in educational leadership, having served as a campus director, assistant principal, and academic program leader, where he led initiatives to improve student achievement, strengthen school culture, and expand access for diverse learners. He holds a Doctor of Education in Administration from Argosy University, and has been recognized for his research on college readiness with the Arizona Superintendent Association’s Outstanding Dissertation Award. His teaching emphasizes leadership development, equity, and practical application to prepare students for success in educational and professional settings.

James Bentley

Film ⎮ Art

James Bentley is a film production professional and educator with over a decade of experience in the motion picture and television industry. He has contributed to major studio productions with companies such as Walt Disney Studios, Universal Studios, and Warner Bros. Pictures, supporting projects including The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Snow White. His expertise spans the full production pipeline, from screenwriting and story development to previsualization and post-production. In addition to his industry work, Mr. Bentley is an experienced educator and guest lecturer, having taught film production and storytelling at institutions such as UCLA Extension and Williams College. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from University of California, Los Angeles and brings a hands-on, industry-informed approach to teaching that prepares students for creative and professional success in media and the arts.

Chris Swanson

Christopher Swanson is a dedicated instructor and higher education professional with extensive experience teaching history and social studies across a variety of academic settings. He has taught at institutions including Northwood University, University of Phoenix, and Baker College, where he has developed and delivered engaging, technology-driven courses in both synchronous and asynchronous environments. Adam Waterbury

Jessica DeBruin

Spanish

Jessica De Bruin is an experienced educator and curriculum developer with a strong background in independent study, adult education, and innovative program design. She has worked with a wide range of learners, supporting both academic achievement and social-emotional growth through personalized, student-centered instruction. In addition to her teaching, she is the founder of Little Achievers Academy, where she develops STEAM-based curriculum and partners with schools, families, and community organizations to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Ms. De Bruin brings expertise in instructional design, mentoring, and student engagement, with a passion for helping students succeed in diverse learning environments. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Grand Canyon University and teaching credentials from California State University, Northridge.

Lisa Sprenkle

Math

Lisa Sprenkle is an experienced mathematics educator with a strong background in both secondary and higher education instruction. She currently serves as an adjunct mathematics professor at Mt. San Jacinto College, where she teaches college-level math courses, while also teaching a wide range of subjects including Algebra, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus at the high school level. Ms. Sprenkle has played a key role in curriculum development, including leading efforts to implement Common Core standards and establishing an Advanced Placement Statistics program. Stephanie Greenspan

Stephanie Greenspan is a technical writer, UX researcher, and educator with a strong background in communication, content strategy, and user-centered design. She specializes in translating complex concepts into clear, accessible materials and has extensive experience developing technical documents, websites, and digital content across a variety of platforms. In her professional work, she has led content development, branding initiatives, and UX research projects, using data-driven insights to improve user experiences and communication outcomes. Stephanie holds a Master of Science in User Experience and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Communication with a UX concentration from Arizona State University, where she graduated with top academic honors. She brings a practical, real-world approach to teaching that emphasizes clarity, usability, and effective communication.

Cindy McMillan

Accounting

Cindy McMillan is an experienced accounting educator and academic leader with over three decades of experience in higher education. She served for many years at Remington College, including a decade as Director of Education, where she oversaw faculty development, curriculum design, academic operations, and accreditation compliance. In addition to her leadership roles, Ms. McMillan has taught a wide range of accounting and business courses, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, and business law, bringing practical, real-world expertise into the classroom. She has also served as an adjunct instructor at institutions such as Spring Hill College and the University of Mobile. Ms. McMillan holds a Master of Accounting from University of South Alabama and is recognized for her commitment to student success and excellence in instruction.

Chelsea Cunningham

Chelsea Cunningham is an experienced academic librarian and information literacy instructor with a strong background in online research support and student engagement. She currently serves as an online librarian, providing real-time assistance to students navigating academic databases, evaluating sources, and developing research skills across a variety of disciplines. Ms. Cunningham has extensive experience supporting diverse and non-traditional learners, as well as creating research guides, instructional materials, and video tutorials to enhance student learning in online environments. She has also taught courses in library and online research, helping students build critical information literacy skills essential for academic success. She holds a Master of Library Science and a School Library Media Specialist certification from University at Buffalo, State University of New York and brings a student-centered, accessible approach to research and learning support.
